Calling all who are interested in volunteering anywhere!
This fun course will cover the basics of volunteering:
- Why volunteer?
- Your expectations/ employers' expectations
- Volunteering courtesy
- The do's and don'ts of volunteering
- "It's not a fit" - when volunteering doesn't work
- Happy time - volunteering should be fun and satisfying for you, but remember, it is very important work!
This three hour course will provide a manual, hands on work, Q&A, a "test" (everyone passes, don't worry!) and a Certificate, after which we will share a snack and the experience of volunteering.
